Solano County Supervisor Cassandra James
This month our speaker will be Solano County Supervisor Cassandra James, representing District 1, which includes about two thirds of Vallejo. She is the Vice President of the Solano-Napa Chapter of Black Women Organized for Political Action. Sup. James will be speaking on how to encourage and support Black female candidates for office, her priorities and answering questions
James recently made history as the first Black woman named Vice Chair of the Board. With more than 20 years of public service, she has championed housing stability, economic opportunity, and access to essential safety nets for economically low-income communities, while mentoring and empowering the next generation of women and youth leaders.
We will also discuss what other programs to present in 2026.
