Introduction to AI
Our October general membership meeting was held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 7:00 pm via Zoom. We heard from two speakers on AI:
- Maggie Kolk is a PDB member and a Food Safety & Quality professional and Professional Trainer, with a variety of certificates from the American Institute of Training and Development, who incorporates AI significantly in her training and teaches a module on AI. She provided an introduction to and overview of AI and it’s uses.
- Jack Kolk is a PDB member and an IT security professional focusing heavily on information security and privacy compliance and accreditation. He gave a presentation Agentic AI and Personal Data Risk, as well as an introduction to the CA DROP program.
